News in a Nutshell: In 2006 Julane played concerts in Quebec, and she had a full house at her CD release concert and party in Iowa for her new CD, Looking Back. In spring of 2007 Julane performed in Pennsylvania at Ole Bull State Park, and later at the Indiana Performing Arts Festival at the Indiana State Museum.   In July Julane shared the stage with Apollo 13 astronaut Jim Lovell at the Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  August was a busy month!  Julane participated as a judge for the Traditional Arts Indiana State Fair Fiddling Contest, and she began teaching music courses as a faculty member at Indiana State University.  Upcoming events:  In November Julane will perform at the International Festival in Indianapolis, and she will teach and perform at a Scandinavian festival in Julian, California.
